Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch, an American comedic actress and television host is well known for her role as the hostess on Dinner and a Movie. She has also been a vocal advocate on the environment and human rights. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times bestseller and critically acclaimed actress is the New York Times's Bestselling Author of her memoirs Wherever You Are There They are I See That You Did An Effort Say Tomato You say I'm fired, and you Say Shut up and was fired. This was also the Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch was the longest-running host on the TBS show Dinner & a Movie and television viewers remember her memorable appearances on various shows, including Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown and also as the host of the sustainable series WA$TED which airs on The Planet Green Network. There are regular appearances on PBS Newhour Real Time, on NPR and in The Hollywood Reporter. In addition to the writing of op eds, she creates satires which are published in The New Yorker WSJ The Hollywood Reporter. An actress the stage, her performance has made her one of the critics of the 'Top Ten Performances for the year in The New York Times as well as The Los Angeles Times. Annabelle shares her knowledge and humour in her view of the ageing process of our world that is so youth-focused. She's performed her acclaimed material at theater festivals around the world, at the 1992 St Y Prevention Magazine AARP gatherings and groups of women across the country.
