Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell is a American chef television personality and ex-teacher at the Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef at Food Network. Food Network. Anne Burrell, a Food Network presenter with her distinctive spikey blonde hair and bubbly personality, reveals simple techniques to master and reduces the fear of eating at restaurants in her show Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell is also a seasoned veteran of New York City's best restaurants. She also has explored Italy's cuisine and the culture of Italy, and the surrounding geography. Early on, while living in the New York's Upstate region, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. Her passion was for food and restaurant by enroling at The Culinary Institute of America after obtaining a degree in English and Communication from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. I loved every minute during my time in The Culinary Institute of America she states. I was unable to learn enough, didn't do enough couldn't work hard enough. Following graduation of the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and Chef Burrell took a full year in Italy learning and working in La Taverna del Lupo restaurant in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 one Michelin star in Tuscany. The time she spent in Italy allowed her to comprehend and appreciate Italian tradition and philosophy, and this has left an impact on her own perception of food. Burrell is a well-known ambassador to the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She has been on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which assists children with obstacles. She is a frequent guest to speak at conferences and tours throughout the United States to mentor others in her job. Anne declared that she felt fortunate that I could communicate her love of cooking to others.
