Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the new theater firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. She was also the producer, costume/set designer, composer/musician and text coach for SSC when she was the Artistic Director of SSC. The last year of her tenure she served as lighting designer and director in SSC's production of King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble but in this last year made her directorial debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Alongside acting, she's also been part of several games programs. Her family was a mix of twin sisters and brothers within Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's poetess wife Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School is where she attended and participated in cheerleading. She was briefly a student at Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Post had previously been married Stephen Knox. Post has been married in 1982 Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer with whom she shares two daughters. Post is a great actress, a wonderful spouse and mother, as well as an excellent role model for numerous Hollywood famous people.
