Colson Kelly, or Machine Gun Kelly is best known for the unique style he uses to rap. Baker was born on the 22nd of April, 1990, in Houston Texas U.S. to the family of English Scottish and German ancestry He is well-known for his unique style of singing. His early years were filled with adventure. Baker traveled with both of his missionary parents. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed, while Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker's father moved along with him to Denver and the family lived at the uncle of his father. Baker had to endure bullying from other children because of his lack of wealth. When he was in sixth grade, he started to take rap music as a form of entertainment. Colson Baker, a.k.a in the form of Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22nd, 1990. The music he composes is a blend of contemporary hip-hop and alternative, as well as rock. Before joining Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and the year 2010.
